the rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a slightly flaring rim, the interior painted with a roundel enclosing butterflies fluttering around peonies issuing from pierced rockwork, above two grasshoppers, the exterior similarly painted, with an underglaze blue six-character mark within a double circle; 19.8 cm, 7 3/4  in.
