the thinly potted rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, finely painted on the exterior with two birds in flight and another amongst foliage beside lotus with red and brown fronds growing in a lotus pool, the interior glazed white, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double circle in underglaze blue.
