The bright vermilion satin richly embroidered in silver and gold thread as well as various bright hues, with four gold and silver dragons chasing flaming pearls above a pavilion surging from tumultuous waves and flanked by two red and silver phoenix, all interspersed with Buddhist symbols, the embroidery in both straight stitches and Peking knot, with yellow silk brocaded and embroidered sleeve hems. 94.5cm (37 1/8in) long
