Set with an octagonal brilliant-cut fancy intense yellow diamond weighing 18.46 carats, the mount decorated with hematite, size 51, signed Bulgari, numbered.
Accompanied by GIA report no. 1172084771, stating that the diamond is Fancy Intense Yellow, Natural Colour, VS1 Clarity.
Note: Its American clientele greatly contributed to Bulgari's success before and after World War II but it was not until 1972 that the Italian jeweller opened a retail branch in the United States.The inauguration of this very first store on the ground floor of the Hotel Pierre in New York coincided with an exceptional time of opulence in America. Under the guiding eye of Nicola Bulgari and with the collaboration of designer Omar Torres (1979-1994), the jewels acquired bold proportions and new striking colour combinations.
