the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, finely enamelled around the exterior with three grisaille landscape medallions and one famille-rose landscape medallion, all divided by brightly enamelled foliate strapwork and reserved on a rich sgraffiato yellow ground, the interior with an enamelled and gilt ruyi medallion; 15 cm, 5 7/8  in.

Provenance: An English Private Collection, acquired in the late 19th century (by repute).
