the central globular section rising from a tall spreading foot to a trumpet neck with indented straight rim, finely painted around the foot and neck in rich cobalt-blue tones with deer in a rocky landscape, the central section with two leafy bamboo sprays, the base inscribed in underglaze-blue with an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark; 47 cm, 18 1/2 in.
