the baluster body rising to a short waisted neck and an everted rim, boldly painted with mythical beasts including a dragon, flying horse, elephant and buffalo, striding amidst scrolling clouds interspersed with the ‘Eight Buddhist Treasures’, all below flames and triple circles at the neck, the rim dressed in brown; 40.2 cm, 15¾ in.
