of circular form, the flat top of the stepped cover pencilled in underglaze-blue with a central medallion enclosing a pair of chilong writhing amongst stylised lingzhi scrolls and flame wisps, the sides encircled by a band of lingzhi heads repeated on the box, the rims bordered by a keyfret band, the interior similarly painted with a branch of magnolia on the cover and a leafy lotus spray on the box, inscribed with an apocryphal Chenghua mark to the base. Quantity: 2 - 17.2 cm, 6¾ in.
