The transparent stone of light pink tone carved as a peach, surrounded by a gilt-metal filigree border, the reverse with fastenings and openwork designs of prunus on a cracked-ice ground. 7cm (2 3/4in) wide
Note: A related belt-buckle inlaid with tourmaline is included in the Palace Museum collection in Beijing and illustrated in Gugong Zhenbao, Beijing, 2006, p.135; another of gilt copper inlaid with tourmaline was included in an exhibition of Qing dynasty costume accessories at the National Palace Museum, Taipei, illustrated in Qing dai fushi zhanlan tulu, Taipei, 1986, no.53.
