robustly potted with steep sides rising to a thick everted rim, crisply moulded with scrolling leafy vines bearing three peonies, all centred with a single flowerhead bearing the character hui, the exterior with incised knife-cut ribs radiating from the foot, covered overall in a glaze of olive green tone, with an appreciation certificate by Takatoshi Misugi (b. 1929); 21.5 cm, 8 1/2 in.
