rising from a splayed foot to a bulbous neck, the tall ovoid body painted with a broad band of archaistic dragons writhing among lotus scrolls, between upright leaves collaring the neck and pendent plantains skirting the base, the bulbous rim further painted with lotus, the base left white; 43.5 cm, 17 1/8 in.
