Each vase is decorated with two scenes enclosing European ladies in long robes admiring a peony in a jardiniere, all below a band of prunus and bamboo. Each vase is painted with an artemisia leaf to the base. 7 ¼ in. (8.5 cm.) high. Both vases have some minor crackling to the glaze, which occurred during the making. One vase: There are two tiny chips to the foot rim. The other vase: There is a feint hairline crack to the mouth rim, measuring approx. 2 cm. long. Estimation: USD1,500 - 2,500
