The globular body is decorated with a continuous scene of a messenger making haste to deliver a document to an official in a fenced garden landscape. The tall neck is painted with upright tulips and lotus scroll. 14 ½ in. (37 cm.) high. The mouth rim has a re-stuck section measuring approx. 5cm and approx. 9cm in circumference with an associated infilled chip that has been overpainted measuring max. approx. 2cm x 1cm, with possible composite material. Scratches and surface wear in keeping with its age. Estimation: USD2,000 - 4,000
