The elegant brooch of openwork design, suspending five cascading fringes, claw-set throughout with pearls measuring approximately 2.00 to 6.50mm, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, pendant hook fitting. Stamped Royal mark "M" (with a crown) for HRH The Princess Margaret.
Provenance: From the Collection of H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, Courtess of Snowdon.
Accompanied by Kensington Palace Certificate of Provenance, and the Precious Stone Laboratory Report, numbered 980094, dated 20 March 2006, stating that a random sample of three pearls examined was found to be natural.
