The center of the interior is decorated with a scholar accompanied by his attendant standing beside a crane beneath a towering pine tree. The well is decorated with petal-form panels enclosing precious objects beneath shaped panels enclosing double peaches. The base is inscribed with an apocryphal Chenghua mark. 10 1/8 in. (27.1 cm.) diam.
