The dish is decorated on the interior with two ladies in a garden setting. The wide, everted rim is decorated with a hare leaping amidst rocks and pine trees. The base is inscribed with an apocryphal Chenghua mark. 8 5/8 in. (22 cm.) diam.
Provenance: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, accessioned in 1923 (Rogers Fund).
