the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot, with a narrow groove encircling the exterior below the rim, covered overall with a lustrous brown glaze suffused to the interior and exterior with short black streaks, the glaze thinning at the rim and falling short of the foot to reveal the brown stoneware body. Diameter 4 3/4  in., 12.1 cm
