of conical form with the flaring sides supported on a short foot, covered overall with a lustrous black glaze, thinning at the rim with some russet streaks extending downwards, the glaze stopping irregularly at the foot ring to reveal the dark-gray stoneware body. Diameter 4 1/4 in., 10.8 cm
