the deep rounded sides supported on a short straight foot, covered overall with a lustrous black glaze, thinning at the rim with some russet streaks extending downwards, the glaze stopping irregularly above the foot to reveal the reddish-brown stoneware body. Diameter 3 7/8 in., 9.9 cm
