the slightly tapered cylindrical body rising from a short foot to an angled shoulder with a tall waisted neck and an everted rim, painted to the exterior with a scholar and a monk sitting on a garden terrace, the shoulder encircled by a band of lotus heads and leaves against a ground of swirls, the neck with bamboo leaves and rocks. Height 8 1/4 in., 20.9 cm
