Lot 910. An iron-red and gilt-decorated powder-blue-ground dish, Kangxi period (1662-1722). Estimate USD 10,000 - USD 15,000.  Photo Christie's Image Ltd 2016.

The interior is vibrantly decorated with a carp amidst sea plants, all set against a powder-blue ground. The base is inscribed with an illegible seal character in underglaze blue within double circles. 7 ¾ in. (19.6 cm.) diam..
