the compressed globular body rising to a tall cylindrical neck, covered overall with a finely mottled opaque glaze of olive-green thinning at the rim to an amber tone, the base with an incised six-character mark. Height 13 in., 33 cm.

Provenance: Collection of Ambassador Edmund A. Gullion (1913-1998) acquired while stationed in Saigon from 1949-1952, and thence by descent.
