modeled in the form of an open scroll, finely carved to the top with a recessed cartouche of conforming shape, enclosing a riverscape showing a long narrow path leading to three river houses, one with two scholars sitting inside, all surrounded by craggy rockwork, trees and distant mountains, the underside incised with a four-character mark reading Wang Bingrong zuo, wood stand (2). Length 3 5/8  in., 9.3 cm
