The bowl is potted with rounded sides rising to an incurved rim covered with a white slip under a clear glaze to simulate a silver rim, the exterior and interior covered with a black glaze embellished on the interior with five large roundels of purplish silver ‘oil spots’ and ending on the exterior right above the unglazed foot ring exposing the buff ware. 6 1/2 in.
