the ‘Henan’ bowl with upright sides, covered overall with a black glaze accentuated with liberally splashed russet dapples, the glaze stopping evenly above the foot to reveal the buff-coloured stoneware body; the ‘Yaozhou’ bowl with flaring sides rising to a five-lobed rim, covered with a greyish-green glaze suffused with white specks and faint crackles - 9.2 and 11.3 cm, 3 5/8 and 4 1/2 in.
