Modeled emptying a vase held in her right hand and holding a lotus stalk in her right, the stems of the lotus, the necklace and the hair ornament centered with a seated Buddha all delicately worked in contrast to the spuming waves that form the base beneath her feet, the four-character mark impressed on the reverse at the center of her shoulder beneath a lustrous glaze and the hollow interior surfaces left unglazed. 27in (68.5cm) high
