Saucer with dragons, Ming dynasty (1368-1644), Jiajing six-character mark and of the period (1522-1566), China, Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province. Jiajing mark of the period. The six-character mark at the base reads: " Produced during the Jiajing reign of the great Ming" The inner bottom depicts a five-claw dragon carrying a long lingzhi mushroom branch; on the outer border two running dragons play with lingzhi.
