painted to the interior with two elegantly attired ladies playing a lively game of weiqi, observed by two companions seated by the table, set in an open pavilion finely furnished with porcelain stools, a side table with books and a censer, a large screen behind, enclosed within a colorfully painted balustrade and a tiled roof with upswept eaves, the underside with foliage and rockwork, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle. Diameter 14 7/8 in., 37.8 cm
