The jar is incised with a band of upright lotus petals outlined in double-line, the slightly domed cover is incised with a four-petal flower-head encircling a pod-form finial, covered overall with a clear glaze of light ivory tone, the underside of cover and foot ring of jar are unglazed revealing the fine white body.
