The vessel is applied with a beige slip and resist-decorated on the body with a lozenge pattern in green with a splash of amber glaze streaking down from the centre of each lozenge. The interior is covered with a straw glaze.

The result of Oxford Authentication Ltd sample no. C298g38 (23 November 1998) is consistent with the dating of this lot.
