of cylindrical form, brightly enamelled to the exterior with gilt outlines, depicting stylised shou characters and bats suspending musical chimes, interspersed amongst lotus blooms borne on intertwining foliate strapwork, below a ruyi band at the rim and above overlapping lappets at the foot, all reserved against a rich turquoise ground, the rim gilt, the base enamelled in turquoise, save for a rectangular cartouche with a six-character seal mark in gilt
