Centering one cushion-shaped sapphire approximately 14.92 cts., flanked by two triangle-shaped diamonds, circa 1930. Size 7 1/2.
With AGL report no. CS39878 stating that the sapphire is of Burma (Myanmar) origin, with no gemological evidence of heat or clarity enhancement.
Note: Sapphire: deep royal blue with faint violet hue and darker hues, good color concentration, slightly included, patch of silk at one end slightly visible to eye, some silk at side of table faintly visible to eye, minor table edge and facet junction abrasions, minor scratch in table slightly visible to eye, several light scratches on crown facets, small chip by girdle near prong, pavilion/culet slightly off center, nice shape and cut, lively. Diamonds: H-I-SI. 11/16 x 3/4 inch, included side diamonds.
