heavily potted and of baluster form, the high rounded shoulders rising from a recessed base to a short wide neck, freely carved in relief to the exterior with four lotus blooms borne on meandering leafy stems above a band of upright petal lappets, covered overall with a celadon glaze, the unglazed rim and wedge-shaped foot rim burnt orange in the firing, wood stand and cover.
