the shallow rounded sides rising from a short tapered foot to an everted rim, applied on the exterior with a rich dark blue glaze suffused with fine bubbles providing a subtle 'orange peel' effect, draining to white at the rim and well controlled around the foot, the interior and the base glazed white, the latter inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character mark within double circles.
