the globular body rising from a recessed base to a short broad mouth, slip decorated around the exterior with vertical ribs and covered with a dark chocolate-brown glaze thinning to a buff tone along each rib, the glaze falling short of the base to reveal the slip-painted ribs and greyish-brown body, 5cm., 2in; together with a large similarly decorated and glazed jar, set at the shoulder with four lug handles.
