A large round censer with straight walls decorated with raised ridges and a band of Taoist (Trinary) symbols. The entire piece sits on its foot rim, but has three small feet attached to the bottom of the vessel. It is covered with an opaque pale green Longquan celadon glaze. A stoneware Zhaodou form jar with straight foot-rim, a compressed bulbous body and tall flared mouth. The body is covered with a blue-green celadon glaze, of ideal color, which stops just short of the foot-rim, revealing a pale stoneware body fired to a russet color. A small shallow stoneware bowl with a finely formed unglazed foot rim and thinly glaze underfoot fired to a russet brown color. The bowl is covered with a sweet pale green glaze that thins at the rim. Although reminiscent of later “moon white” glazes, this piece represents a rare perfectly fired tenth century example. A stoneware bowl with steep walls formed into six petal-shaped segments with foliated rim. The interior of the broad, flattened bottom is decorated with highly stylized incised floral and cloud decorations. The piece is covered in a pale green finely crackled translucent glaze of ideal color. There is a small area of brownish discoloration and another area of glaze crawling near the interior... A pouring vessel with lobed body, surmounted by a trumpet shaped neck, an indented loop handle and faceted spout. Beneath the spout is an applied floral medallion typical of Changsha wares. The entire piece is covered with an olive colored green crackled glaze which stops short of its foot, revealing a buff stoneware body. Two rim chip repairs.
