en forme de corolle, l'extérieur sculpté de grappes de raisin, sarments et feuilles de vigne, revenant vers l'intérieur de la coupe, l'anse formée d'un sarment recouvert de grains de raisin, la corne d'une belle couleur caramel foncé ; inscription à l'avant de la coupe sous la bordure Dongpo shi zhen shang (conservé et apprécié par Dongpo) ; cette marque a été apposée plus tardivement par un collectionneur ; petits manques et accidents.

The five-character inscription found on this vessel refers to the Song dynasty writer, poet, artist, calligrapher and statesman Su Shi (1037-1101) also known as Su Dongpo. It is known that Su appreciated beautiful design and high quality craftsmanship, hence the mentioning of his name suggest the owner's satisfaction with this cup.
