The conical bowl stands on a short foot ring and has wide flaring sides. It is moulded in the interior with two phoenix interspersed with peony sprays below a band of keyfret, and covered with a translucent bluish glaze stopping around the foot, Japanese wood box.
Provenance: Acquired in Hong Kong in the 1980s.
