The bowl is well potted with rounded sides rising to a slightly flared mouth rim. The exterior is enamelled and gilded with the feng deng, the 'Lanterns of Abundance', within four medallions divided by floral sprays reserved on a sgraffiato ground. The interior is painted in underglaze-blue with a rabbit in a landscape within a medallion in the centre, surrounded by four floral sprays on the well, box.
