A yellow-glazed vase and cover, Kangxi period (1662-1722)

Lot 127. A yellow-glazed vase and cover, Kangxi period (1662-1722); 13 ¾ in. (35 cm.) high. Estimate GBP 5,000 - GBP 8,000 (USD 6,755 - USD 10,808). Unsold. © Christie's Images Ltd 2018. 

The vase is potted with a broad shoulder and slightly flaring neck. The domed cover is surmounted by a conical finial. It is covered all over with an unctuous deep yellow glaze, wood stand.

Provenance: Private Dutch Collection, acquired prior to 1976, and then by descent within the family.
