the slightly tapered cylindrical body supported on a splayed foot, rising to an angular shoulder below a long slender neck, the main body painted in vivid cobalt blue simulating Ming dynasty 'heaping and piling', with ten vertical panels of stylised flower blooms borne on leafy stems, between two continuous bands of floral scrolls, all below pendant lappets at the shoulder and further floral sprigs collaring the neck, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark.
