well potted with shallow rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot, the exterior delicately painted with blossoming peonies borne on leafy branches and gnarled branches of magnolia and prunus, issuing from the base and extending around the sides, before spreading around the interior with two large peonies amidst further magnolia and prunus blossoms, the countersunk base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark.
