each potted with a compressed globular body gently rising to a slightly tapered neck, densely painted on the exterior with iron-red bats in flight, hovering amongst multicolour swirling clouds, all between a pendant ruyi-head band at the mouth and a border of upright stylised lappets around the foot, the countersunk base inscribed in iron red with a six-character reign mark.
