The interior of the shallow dish is decorated with a long-tailed pheasant to the centre, surrounded by large floral sprays and rocks. The exterior is decorated with further rocks and peony sprays. The base is painted in cobalt blue to depict an auspicious symbol.
Provenance: Private Dutch Collection, predominantly assembled in the 1970s and 1980s and then by descent within the family.
