The stele of ogee arch form, finely carved in high relief on one side with a central figure of Buddha, seated in dhyanasana with one hand gesture in abhaya mudra, the other bhumisparsa mudra over the raised lotus plinth, accompanied on either side by a Bodhisattva standing on a lotus base, each dressed with loose garments forming U-shaped folds on the protruding belly, all atop a design of a pair of lions flanking an incense burner engraved to the lower section of the stele, with one lion staring straight towards the viewer. Both sides incised inscription indicate the date as day 22, the 8th month and 4th year, Dawei Period (546), by the disciple Yucheng.
