Each set with an oval jadeite cabochon of emerald green colour and high translucency, weighing 13.88 and 13.85 carats, measuring approximately 16.36 x 14.80 x 7.70 mm and 16.26 x 14.85 x 7.76 mm respectively, surrounded by twelve rubies weighing 8.08 carats in total, mounted in 18K gold, approximately 2.1 cm long.
Accompanied by report no. 18081196/1 and 2 dated 28 August 2018 from Gubelin stating that the two jadeites tested are natural jadeite jades, with no indications of treatment and comments that these type of jadeite may also be called “Type A” in the trade. 1) This type of jadeite jade may also be called “Imperial Jade” in the trade. This term refers to the finest specimen of “Type A” jadeite jade.
Also accompanied by a Gubelin Appendix to report no. 18081196 / 1 and 2 stating that the matched pair of two polished jadeites possess a richly saturated and evenly distributed green colouration, combined with the high translucency as well as their very fine texture.
