each compressed globular body rising from a short spreading foot to a short straight neck, white slip-decorated around the exterior with crane in a lotus pond and all reserved on a dark blue ground, the slightly domed cover similarly decorated with a kylin amidst fire scrolls, the base inscribed with the four-character mark fu gui jia qi, as (beautiful vessel for the rich and honourable).
