NoteOf the few surviving dishes in this large size perhaps the closest is the example published by Dwight P. Lanmon, Glass in the Robert Lehman collection, XI Glass, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, 1993, pp. 180-182, no. 65; the author lists two further dishes of a slightly different pattern arrangement in the Umĕleckoprůmyslové museum Prague, and the Kunstsammlungen zu Weimar. Such dishes form part of the collection at Rosenborg castle, Denmark, which were included in the gift presented to King Frederik IV of Denmark by the City of Venice when he visited in 1709. The King built a Glass cabinet to house his collection in 1714.
