Each vividly and brightly enamelled with a mythical qilin confronting a phoenix in flight amidst cloud scrolls in a setting of rockwork, peony and pine, encircled by eight cartouches decorated with four various beasts alternating with floral sprays, the everted foliate rims with shaped panels containing butterflies on a diaper-pattern ground.
