centering a rectangular-shaped emerald-cut sapphire, weighing 33.03 carats, flanked by baguette-cut diamonds; estimated total diamond weight: 1.25 carats; mounted in in platinum; size 6 1/4. 

Accompanied by AGL report # CS 59825, dated March 21, 2014, stating the sapphire as: Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin, no indications of heat or clarity enhancement.

Accompanied by Gubelin report # 17062015, dated July 11, 2017, stating the sapphire as: Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin, no indications of heat or clarity enhancement.

Accompanied by GIA report # 1188037914, dated September 1, 2014, stating the sapphire as: Sri Lankan, no indications of heat.

NoteThe deep intense blue and high luster of a Sri Lankan sapphire is widely admired and appreciated around the world. Perhaps the most famous of all is the one worn by Kate Middleton. This lot is an extraordinary example of a large unheated Sri Lankan sapphire which displays an evenly distributed blue, similar to that of a Kashmir.
